BURIED IN SAND

THREE CHILDREN KILLED PLAYING IN PIT TEN OTHERS INJURED LONDON, Thursday. Some children were playing in a sandpit at St. Helens, Isle of Wight, when thousands of tons of sand fell, killing three and injuring 10 of them. The children rescued were partially suffocated. It is explained that the children were constantly playing a game called “seaside,” and had undermined the side of the sand cliff.
