Bennett, for some months. The whole of the matter of tariff revision and the new Budget will await Mr. Bennett’s return from the Imperial Conference. To meet the situation of the un passed Liberal Budget, with some tariff changes already effective and others pending, Mr. Bennett will retain the Ministry of Finance himself until after the Conference. “It is not considered likely that Mr. Bennett will carry out In its entirety his campaign views that both treaties should be abrogated in favour of build ing up Canadian industry by Imposition of high tariffs.
