WAIUKU RAILWAY
EVIDENCE FOR COMMISSION Special to THE SU^ WAIUKU, Today. Evidence in support of the continued use of the Waiuku branch line is to be given on behalf of the Waiuku Railway Protection League before the Railway Commission at its sitting in Auckland on Monday. The league met this week and appointed Messrs. F. A. Harcombe and C. I. Harkness to tender evidence. Members stated that while they recognised that certain curtailments and economies might be deemed necessary, tho line was essential to the continued progress of the district.
