PORK PRICES HIGHER
INCREASE NEXT MONDAY Owing to a seasonal shortage in the supply of pigs, and the consequent increase in prices at recent sales, the Master Butchers’ Association has decided to increase the price of all pork except sausages by one penny a pound from Monday next. The new price list will be: Leg, 3s Id lb.; loin, Is 3d; foreloin with blade, lid; pork chops. Is 2d; corned ham, lOd; corned belly. Is; pork sausages. 8 cl.
