RAILWAY DISMISSALS
33 MORE FROM HUTT SHOPS TAKE EFFECT NEXT MONTH Press Association WELLINGTON, Wednesday. There are further dismissals pending at the Mutt Valley railway workshops, notices having been given to 33 men on Monday. The notices’ will take effect early next month. The rrien to whom dismissal notices have been given include nine painters, 13 labourers, two plumbers, one fitter and eight carpenters.
