FUNDS FOR PONSONBY FREE KINDERGARTEN
CARD AFTERNOON AND EVENING The committee of the Ponsonby Free Kindergarten organised a successful card afternon and evening in the All Saints’ Church hall on Alonday. Golden mimosa and fragrant yellow jonquils attractively decorated the hall. Over 30 tables were engaged in pla> in the afternoon, and an even larger number was present in the evening. Committee members responsible for the success of the function were: Mrs R. Laidlaw (president), Mrs. Tucker. Mr. AI. Billington, Mrs. C. F. Bennett. Airs. G. C. Codlin. Airs. F. YY’orsfold Airs. W. Manning. Airs. F. W. Boys. Airs. Rew, Mrs. .T. ArcKee, Mrs. C. Palmer, Airs. A. Goldie, Airs. J. Irwin, and Mrs. V. Usher.
