“ARIZONA KID” AT PLAZA
Remarkable photography of one of the West’s finest scenic areas, a story of unsurpassed action and realism, the noted Warner Baxter in his greatest “bandit” role, a splendid supporting cast, and unusual direction, all feature “The Arizona Kid,” the current talkie sensation now attracting much attention at the Plaza Theatre. Mona Maris, the Argentine beauty, who created such a sensation with Baxter in “Romance of Rio Grande.” is again seen as his leading lady in this production. Other important roles in the picture are enacted by Carol Lombard and Mrs. Jiminez.
Jack Oakie has completed work on “The Sap from Syracuse,” his second starring all-talking picture. The film play is adapted from the stage success by John Wray, John O’Donnell and John Hayden.
