SOUTHLAND RUGBY UNION’S / DECISION INTERFERING WITH GATES Press Association INVERCARGILL, Today. The Southland Rugby Union has decided to discontinue broadcasting its matches on the ground that broadcasting is interfering with the gate receipts. It is stated that crowds are attracted to the radio receiving sets and that tea-rooms are making capital out of the union.
