ATTENDANT MAID WEARS GOWN OF CANTON JADE WOODERSON—LAWRENCE A wedding was ce’ebrated at St j Stephen’s Anglican Church, Tama hero. | on July 9. when Lorna, elder daughter of Mr. and Airs. C. Lawrence, of Tamahere, was married to Laurence, third son of Air. and Mrs. Llewellyn Wooderson. of Whakatane. and formerly of Alotumaoho. The Rev. K. Clark officiated. The church was artistically decor- j ated by friends of the bride. The service was fully choral. Air. W j Windsor presiding at the organ. The bride, who entered the churcl* with her father, wore a gown of ivory georgette with satin trimming. Her veil was held in place by a coronet of orange blossoms, and she carried a bouquet to tone The bridesmaid. Aliss Rona Lawrence, sister of the bride, wore a gown of jade green taffeta embroidered with pink flowers, with a head-dress of tu le and flowers, and she carried a bouquet to tone. Air. K. Wooderson. brother of the j bridegroom, acted as best man. At the reception, Airs. Lawrence, in | a smart gown of navy crepe de chine, i received the guests. The bride’s travelling frock was of i saxo blue crepe de chine, with fawn i trimming, and a hat to match. .
