“LOVIN’ THE LADIES” An abundance of enjoyable comedy is provided in "Lovin' the Ladies,” Which is now at the Civic Theatre. The picture, which is based on the stage play. “I Love You.” is one of the best comedies screened in Auckland. The plot is a light one. but is cleverly conceived and a succession of farcical situations occurs before a pleasing ending to tho story is reached. A quaint but enjoyable strand of philosophy has been woven into the humorous nature of the film. Richard Dix in the role of an electrician who masquerades in high society is the star in “Lovin' the Ladies.” ... Instead of the traditional heroine. Dix is involved with four women. They are Lois Wilson. Rita La Roy, Radio Pictures’ "It” girl; lienee Macready, English actress, and Virginia Sale, sister of Chic. ,
