MISS SPENCER’S DANCE On Saturdaj' evening Miss Spencer held a most successful dance at the Symondsville Studio. Bright-coloured streamers, ferns and shaded lights made a very effective decoration. Delightful music was played by Mr. Jack Rowe and his orchestra, including several new numbers. Among those present were: Miss Spencer, shrimp-pink taffeta and georgette, with gold sequined- coatee.'; Miss E. King, primrose and cherry-red georgette. Miss D. King, ankle-length frock of fuchsia and gold georgette; Miss Betty Page, sunglow-pink taffeta and tulle; Miss Heald. opal-blue taffeta, with tulle hem; Miss Harrington, frock of shell-pink lace, with large hip bow of taffeta; Miss T, Thomas, bluebird blue georgette and lace: Miss Smith, black velvet frock; Miss P. Berry, ivory lace over mist blue; Miss M. Dawson, anklelength frock of apricot satin; Miss D. Robinson, heliotrope georgette; Miss G. Williams, frock of light canary yellow taffeta and silver lace; Miss Charmers, apple-green georgette, trimmed with silver lace; Miss Olga Cresswell, leafgreen taffeta, with hem of gold lace; Miss Beswick, black ankle-length frock of lace; ’ Miss Blundell, lace frock of shell-pink; Miss B. Hardy, dark blushpink georgette and tulle; Miss V. Bieleski, flounced frock of coral pink satin; Miss Brett, moss-green embossed velvet; Miss I Masters, frock of ivorv and sal-mon-pink lace; Miss E. Milne, white georgette and ribbon; Miss O. Hogan, azure blue georgette and gold lame; Miss 1 Dennis, nile green georgette, with side panels of lace; Miss Kent, ivorv georgette, with frilled skirt of mile'; Miss Harrop, frock of cornflower-blue georgette; Miss larkspur-blue georgette, with frilled hem; Miss Inez Badley, flounced frock of blush-pink satin and silver lace; Miss Bennett, apricot taffeta and gold lace; Miss A. Stewart, pastel-pink satin and georgette; Miss McDonald, ankle-length frock of floral georgette; Miss Wiseman, frock of sea-green lace and georgette; Miss T. Burgess, silver-grey georgette, trimmed with pink taffeta; Miss McPherson, frock of purple lace, with large bow of taffeta; Miss T. Thornton, orchid-pink georgette, finished with Ivory tulle.
