PHYSICAL CULTURE CLUB FORMED AT TAURANGA
There was an excellent attendance at a public meeting convened in Tauranga by Mrs. W. J. Alexander, to consider the forming of a women’s physical culture club.
The Mayor occupied the chair, nnd after some discussion it was resolved to form a club to l>e called the Tauranga Ladies’ Physical Culture Club. The following officers were elected: Patron. Mrs. It. c. Robins; president. Mrs. i\. J. Alexander; vice-president, Mrs. A. K. Xewsliam; lion, secretary, Mrs. . A. Paterson; lion treasurer. Mrs. A L. Faulkner; executive. Mesdames Patle, Crow-ley, and Heald, Misses Heatherton, PappD and Brewer.
