His personality dominates the film. The hero yearns to be an actor, and leaves home to seek a fortune on the boards. He makes a hit, and is engaged for a “turn” in a luxurious cafe. His voice is heard by his parents miles away on the wireless. He returns home, as his mother is taken ill. and while in New York scores a distinct success on Broadwaj'. The talking and singing is remarkably clear. “Senor Americano,” a Western, starring Ken Maynard, is the second feature.
