WELLINGTON TO HAMILTON IN TWO HOURS SPEED OF 125 M.P.H. From Our Own Correspondent HAMILTON, Friday. Travelling at an average speed of 125 miles an hour and at times touching 150 miles an hour, Captain M.C. McGregor flew from Wellington to Hamilton today in the record time of 1 hour 58 minutes. Captain McGregor left the Rongotai airdrome at 2 p.m. in the Cadbury-Fry-Hudson company’s Gipsy Moth, accompanied by Mr. Buckeridge, of Dunedin. A southerly gale was blowing at 50 miles an hour at the time. Captain McGregor followed the Wanganui River and the Main Trunk line and arrived at the Rukuhia airdrome, Hamilton, at 3.58 p.m.
