MYERS CUP RUGBY
RAILWAY WORKSHOPS’ MATCH A Kugby event of interest Is fixerl to be played on Victoria Park tomorrow between Auckland and LVelllngtonrailway workshops teams. This is an annual fixture for the handsome silver cup donated by the late Hon. A. Myers, formerly Minister of Railways. Last year the trophy as won by the Wellington team by a narrow margin and the game tomorrow is expected to be again evenly contested. Tho visitors will be represented by a strong combination, while the Auckland fifteen will include a number of prominent players of the Kugby code. In order to allow the teams to witness the test match it has been decided to kick oil at 9.30 a.m. The teams are:—• Wellington.—Tui, R 033. Hanßen, Marshall, Te Punl, Feeney, McCarthy, Wickham, Dick, Stewart, Baker, Potts Fleming, Clark, Mooney. Auckland.—A. Dyett, H. Tate. R. InKlis, G. Batchelor, R. Stehr, D. Hih, F. Coughlan, J. Lipscombe, M. Judd. T. Hayard, D. Shippe, P. Henessey. J. Parkes. J. Hawkes, 11. Hunt. Mr. H. Thomas has been appointed referee.
