Funds For Sunbeams’ Kindergarten

Enjoyable Dance - at Click Clack MANY LOVELY FROCKS Hanging baskets of ferns and foliage, balloons, streamers and bowls of fragrant spring flowers attractively decorated the Click Clack Cabaret last evening, when a very enjoyable dance was held in aid of the Auckland Sunbeams' Kindergarten. Bridge tables were arranged downstairs in the lounge for the,non-dan-cers, while the Amateur Syncopaters dispensed a bright programme of dance tunes in the ballroom. Members of the committee responsible for the success of the evening were:—Mrs. C. B. Plummer (president). Mrs. D. B. Patterson (honorary secretary), Miss Gannaway (honorary treasurer), Mrs. Garrett, Mrs. Farrell. Mrs. Kidd, Mrs. Milne. Mrs. Stokes. Mrs. Ryder. Mrs. Sadler. Mrs. G Court. Mrs. H. Court. Mrs. Coe. Mrs. Harrowell. Mrs. Ritchie. Mrs. Shera. Mrs. Johns, Mrs. Campbell. Mrs. Cooper. Mrs Alpe, Miss Morton, Miss Duncan and Miss Haslett. AMONG THOSE PRESENT Mrs. C B. Plummer was gowned in blue and amber chenille embossed georgette with brocaded metal cloth wrap. Mrs. X. Kidd wore a gown of black embroidered lace. Mrs. W. H. Whitley’s gown was of coral pink lace. Mrs. C. Grierson had on a pretty frock of oiel blue georgette-. Mrs. C. Vennell wore a pretty flounced frock of nymph green moire. Mrs. Phera was in moon-mist blue crepe faille. Mrs. Milne’s gown of beige lace was worn over deep parchment satin. Mrs. D. B Patterson was wearing black georgette embroidered with sequins and crystal beads. Mrs. George Court was wearing a smart ffoek of black and gold metal lace. Mrs. Harold Court had chosen a black crepe de soie frock. Mrs. Summers was wearing a gown of sunset pink georgette. Mrs. Garrett was in a black and silver beaded chiffon frock. Mrs. Cherry wore an autumn tinted velvet bridge coat oyer her gown of black georgette and lace. Mrs. Coe was wearing coral pink satin beaute. Palest pink ninon with pointed draperies was worn by Mrs A. Campbell. 1 Mrs. Cooper had on a gown of gold Nlrs. Choyce had on a patterned chiffon frock in green and gold tones. Mrs. A. D. Stewart’s frock was of black and silver metal cloth. Miss Duncan wore a gown of deep begonia pink georgette. Miss Gwen Kingston wore a cream chiffon frock, with frilled skirt and blue hip bow. Miss Lorna McGruer had chosen a becoming frock of larkspur blue beaded chiffon. A smart frock of pale coral satin beaute was worn by Miss Molly MitchelMiss Ellice Alison was frocked in lacquer red ring velvet. Miss Wilma Plummer was wearing a floral chiffon frock of rose and blue tonings. A smart gown of black moire ring velvet was chosen by Miss Dene Plummer. Miss Kathleen Stokes wore a pretty frock of ivory taffeta, appliqued with blue. Miss Phyllis Biss was wearing a slimfitting frock of canton jade satin. Miss Hilary Biss had chosen a bouf-; fant frock of petunia taffeta. Miss Vera Hay was wearing a gown of absinthe green faille. Leaf green georgette and laCe was worn by Miss Beatrice Hardie Neil. Miss Evelyn Fordo wore a pretty pink seqtiined frock. Miss Joan Hudson, cherry and silver lame, with chiffon skirt. Miss Wilma Prater’s frock was of leaf green moire. A flounced frock of ivory taffeta, mounted on ivale pink, was worn by Miss Alfreda Suter. Miss Marjorie Suter was smartly frocked in black crepe de soie. An uneven-length frock of water green lace was worn by Miss Helen Seabrook. Sage green georgette and lace fashioned Miss Olive Gaudln’s frock. Miss Somerset Thomas had chosen a frock of silver paillettes. Miss Freda Gaudin’s frock was of capucine georgette. Miss Phyllis Macindoe had on a frock of line pink lace. Miss Morton wore a frock of black embossed georgette. Miss Berry had on a gown of vieux rose taffeta. Polka-dotted chenille georgette In black and scarlet was worn by Miss Berta Thompson. Miss Molly Kidd had chosen a dance frock of daffodil yellow ring velvet. Miss Thompson had on a gown of citron ne taffeta. Miss Dorothy Shera was wearing a frock of briar rose pink shot taffeta. Miss Amur’s frock was of burgundy red georgette. Miss Ronayne wore a frock of pink beaded georgette. Miss Marjorie Clarke chose a frock of lemon taffeta. Miss Sybil Scott was frocked in peach blossom pink taffeta. Miss Garlick chose a frock of black and gold figured lame. Miss Haslett was wearing a black beaded gown. Miss Sutherland’s dance frock was of champagne georgette. Miss Zena Blake had chosen a frock of gold lame. Miss Lorna Blake was gowned m floral georgette. Miss Bagnall chose a gown of black and silver georgette. Miss Tremaln wore a pretty frock of liberty blue georgette. Miss Crump was wearing a frock of unrelieved black ripple ninon. Miss Unice Cook was gowned in apricot chiffon. Miss W. Ilulme had chosen a gown of sunglow taffeta. Miss McDonald’s frock was of china blue crepe satin. Miss Balderston chose a dance frock of jade green frilled georgette. Miss Edna Richards had on a frock of sunset pink taffeta and net. Miss Zella Saunders wore a gown of moonmist blue floral taffeta. Miss Ruth Sutherland was wearing a pretty frock of cream georgette.
