KAIPARA DAIRY COMPANY
Opposition to the proposal to increase daylight saving to one hour was expressed by shareholders at the annual meeting of the Kaipara Cooperative Dairy Co., held at Helensville on Wednesday. Dealing with the affairs of the company, the chairman, Mr. A. Hanson, emphasised the narrowing sphere of markets for butter, and the fact that England was practically the only outlet for the bulk of the produce. The retiring directors, Mr. A. Hanson, and Mr. IT. P. McLeod, were reelected, and Mr. G. K. Hutchinson filled the vacancy caused by the retirement of Mr. G. T. Mills.
