PLAY AT PAPATOETOE
FUNDS FOR BENEVOLENT SOCIETY A full house greeted the members of the Everyman Repertory Theatre Society in the Papatoetoe Town Hall on Tuesday evening, when they presented the charming Spanish comedy, “The Romantic Young Lady." The proceeds are to bo devoted to the carrying on of the work of the Papatoetoe Benevolent Society, and its funds will benefit considerably in consequence of the production. The cast of characters was as follows:—“Pepa,” L>. W. Noakes: “Emilio,” Godfrey Kiss Ling; “Rosario,” Allie Deacon; “Dona Barbarita,” Constance Martin; “Mario,” Desmond J. Parsons; “Maria Pepa," Bessie Pilkington; “The Apparition," Andrew Beresford; “Irene,” Margery Ryan; “Don Juan," L. S. Bates; “Guillermo,” Dennis Knight; “Amalia," Mrs. Dave Simpson. At the conclusion of the entertainment the Rev. T. H. C. Partridge thanked the players on behalf of the Benevolent Society.
