AFTER FOUR YEARS
ALLEGED ESCAPEE CAUGHT ARRESTED IN DUNEDIN Press Association DUNEDIN, Today. In the Rangipo Prison in 1926 Leo Sylvester Hannan started to serve an 18 months’ gaol sentence for safeblowing, but after four months escaped and nothing more was heard of him till his arrest was effected in Dunedin today. He was before the court this morning on a charge of escaping from lawful custody and was remanded to Monday.
