\VHILE jogging yeiterday on th. ” main track at Epsom, tho Now Zealand Cup candidate, Gold Jackety met with trouble. Mignonis! who was on the lead, suddenly pulled back, leaving the dual Auckland Cup winner without a pilot. The Gold Bell gelding broke through the fence on to the sand circuit and careered round until caught by J. S. Shaw. Gold Jacket was bleeding at the nose, and received minor abrasions, but trainer McMahon says it is nothing serious and the pacer will be all right again in a few days.
