CHARGE OF THEFT

EX-JOCKEY REMANDED On a charge of theft, George Albert Hedley Nixon was remanded today to appear at the Police Court on July 31. Nixon was charged with the theft of a black fox fur, four pairs of women's stockings, a pair of slippers, soap, scent and 5s in cash, of a total value of £ll 11s Gd, the property of L. E. Wiseman, at Takapuna, on March 22. Accused was described. as an exjockey, aged 33. A remarid was granted on the application of Chief-Detective Hammond.
