FERRY DELAYED

TROUBLE WITH ENGINES A few travellers from Stanley Bay to the city were late this morning. Engine trouble delayed the ferrysteamer Ngoiro on the eight o’clock trip from the North Shore, and the journey, which can be completed in little more than five minutes, did not end until 8.20 a.m. In the meantime other harbour travellers had seen the steamer in distress and had warned the Ferry Company officials. The steamer Condor was despatched at once and the service carried on without interruptiofi.
