BRIDE CARRIES BOUQUET Of SPRING FLOWERS . McDonald—dew An interesting wedding was celebrated on Wednesday last at St. John’s Anglican Church, Te Awamutu, when Ruth, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Dew, of Pokuru, was married to William ‘ Atkinson, second son of Mr. and Mrs. A. M. McDonald, of Edendale,Southland. The Rev. §. Wareing, vicar of Te Awamutu, performed the ceremony, and Mrs. H. Fear presided at the organ. The bride, who entered the church with her father, wore a frock of ivory crepe de chine with long flared skirt scalloped at the hemline. Her embroidered veil of brussels net was held in place with a coronet of orange blossom and she' carried a bouquet of spring flowers, maidenhair fern and asparagus fern. The bride was attended by her sister, Aliss Violet Dew. as bridesmaid, who wore a dainty frock of pink taffeta with flared skirt and black picture hat. She carried a bouquet composed cf spring flowers. Air. F. McDonald. of Edendale, brother of the bridegroom, was best man.

After the ceremony a reception, was held in the Kakepuku Hall, where Airs. Dew received her guests wearing a navy charmelaine dress with navy felt hat, and she carired a bouquet qf violets. #
