MONEY TAKEN FROM CLOTHES Press Association ELTHAM, Today. Two cases of burglary were reported today from the Central and Coronation Hotels, where bedrooms were entered. Mr. Casey, licensee of the Central, lost £4 from his trousers pocket in his own room, and Mr. Murray, a Government inspector of machinery, who was staying at the Coronation, had £5 10s in notes taken from his clothes. A porter at the Coronation saw a man in the passage, who disappeared quickly. The police were immediately on the scene, and investigations are ‘proceeding.
