VILLAGERS SAY HE HAS RAGING FEVER SEES TIGER IN DELIRIUM CALCUTTA, Sunday. An impression has gained ground that the missing airman, Mr. Eric Hook, who, with Mr. James Matthews, crashed in the Burmese jungle, may be alive. A report has reached Rangoon that he is suffering from fever in a village some miles from the spot where he was left by Mr. Matthews. He Is delirious and unable to give a coherent account of his experiences He frequently mentions the word “tiger.” i Villages who were fishing are reported to have found him exhausted and almost naked on the bank of a stream. Mr. Matthews is still at Prome, and Is progressing well.
