Popularity Campaign
Last Bonus Votes to be Given This Week BIG PRIZE CAR PARADE IN TE AROHA
The Sun’s great popularity campaign is gradually drawing to a close. One week from Saturday will see the suspense over, the fight finished and the expectations of the candidates, who have worked hard and long, rewarded —but before that time there is much to be done. All the remainder of this week, as well as next week, should see every competitor putting forth all his energy in getting “just one more subscrip- 1 tion.” It may be just the one subscrip- i tiou which you would have needed, I and if missed would mean regret—re- , gret on your part that you did not put forth a little more effort. T.et us emphasise the point again—not to let yourself grow slack. Those who put ; forth every effort will certainly reap their reward. For the remainder of this week a special bonus will be given of 100.000 l votes for each total of £lO in sub- \ scription money. This is positively j the last bonus of any kind that will be made. Subscriptions may be turned in all next week, but only the regular votes will be allowed on each subscription. VOTES COUNTED IN CIVIC THEATRE All the contestants are eagerly look- j ing forward to the final enactment at | the CIVIC Theatre one week from i Saturday—August 2. The contestants | are busy appointing judges and getting in every available subscription. Contestants should immediately I send in all reserve ballots for check- I ing. Already a number of contestants \ have sent in their reserve ballots, j These reserve ballots are first care-1
fully checked with the records of the Campaign Department and are then placed in the file in a sealed envelope to be deposited in the ballot box on the final week. No more original ballots will be sent out to the contestants. Only the butts will be mailed in each case. All original ballots from now until the close of the competition will be rei tained in the contestant's file. This is i done so there will be no chance of | these final ballots being lost 5n the | mail or delayed. PRIZE DISPLAY AT TE AROHA !
