RENOVATING “BRENT’S”

NOT BEING REBUILT The Mount Cook Tourist Company has decided not to rebuild Brent’s Bathgate House, Rotorua, the wellknown tourist hostel, but the house is being enlarged and renovated throughout. The company acquired the building and site recently and it was reported that a new building was to be erected, but that is incorrect. Hot and cold w*ater will be made available to each room, steam radiators will be installed throughout, and a freezing plant is to be added to the culinary appointments.
