CARGO JETTISONED
NALDERA THROWS OVERBOARD 2,400 CARCASES NO. 2 HOLD FLOODED Reed. 12.10 p.m. SYDNEY, Today. The marine underwriters have been notified that the steamer Naldera, after passing through heavy weather in the Indian Ocean, had No. 2 hold flooded, due to a broken ventilator. It was found necessary to jettison about 2,400 carcases of beef, mutton, and sundries.
