INVERCARGILL TEAM WINS RINKS FINAL GAME SINGLES TO N.S.W. CHAMPION Reed. 10.55 a.m. SUVA, Today. The bowling carnival is proceeding. The open rinks final resulted: Hay, J. Thomson, Stevenson, D. Thomson (Invercargill), 31, v. Baxter, Munn, Haigh. Brown (Christchurch). 14. In the rairs Championship, Broad and Stevens (Invercargill), 27, defeated Williamson and Aitkeu (Feildiug), 15. The sensation of the carnival was the defeat of D. Thomson (Invercargill) by- J. Hocking (New South Wales) by 16 to 11 in the Singles Championship.
