WIDENING OF ROADWAY
REQUEST FROM MISSION BAY The desirability of widening the roadway along the waterfront from Mission Bay eastward and connecting it with the road now being formed along Kohimarama Beach, was asked of the City Council last evening by a number of Tamaki residents. These persons said that in view of the early completion of the waterfront road, residents of tlio district were anxious to see that portion of the work from Mission Bay to the main Kohi road undertaken, as this, in its present state, was too narrow for bus traffic. The work could be financed from unemployment loan money, the proposers suggested.
The question was referred to the Works Committee.
