LONDON WOOL SALES
LATE RATES HOLD Reed. 11.45 a.in. LONDON, Thursday. At the wool sales, 7,548 bales were offered, including 2,853 from New Zealand. About 5,395 bales were sold. There was a medium-sized offering of Merinos', principally of Continental style, topmakers and spinners’ wools. Of all New Zealand sorts there was a moderate supply, and a good tone was registered, prices being fully maintained.
New Zealand greasy crossbred sold 10|d and lOd; Merino Ngaruru, 12£d and Hid.
The Bradford market is steady with improved inquiry for Merinos. Quotations were fully maintained.
