A QUIET morning was registered on ’Change this morning, few sales recorded. Mount Lyell are inclined to improve, numerous buyers quoting.
Business on the Auckland Market Transactions on the Auckland mar-1-et over the past 24 hours included: V Yesterday afternoon. —Renown Collieries (ord.). 15s 3d; New Zealand Breweries. £2 9s 3d; Waihi. 14s. At the morning early call.—Waihi Hate sale), 14s. At the midday call. —Commercial Bank of Australia, £1 Is Id.
Market at Midday Most bank shares are again easier, 'ustralasian sellers have reduced 6d. Commercial of Australia have buyers 21s, sellers 21s Id. New South Wales are unchanged. New Zealand ire now offered at 575. Union of Australia are weak, with buyers £ll 2s 6d. Insurance are quiet. National have
buyers 13s 9d, sellers 14s 4d. New Zealand and South British are both unchanged. Shipping is still attracting numerous investors. Devonport Ferry remain firm. Northern Steam, both issues, are steady. P. and O. have numerous inquiries. Union Steam have persistent buyers at 20s 9d. * * * Dividends Due Nat.
