ENGINES FOR INDIA.—The proprietors of the Vulcan foundry, at New ton-le-willows, Lancashire, have secured a contract to supply the Indian North-Western Railway Company with 27 locomotives. The carrying out of the order will provide nine months’ worlc for 2.000 men.
