FARMERS’ CONVENTION
DOMINIONS ARE CONCERNED IN EMPIRE TRADE WAITING FOR CONFERENCE Reed. 11.15 a.m. LONDON, Tues. The proposal by the New Zealand and South African Agricultural Unions •to hold an Empire Farmers’ Convention in South Africa in 1932 was brought before a representative meeting of* British agricultural organisations and deferred pending the Imperial Conference’s decisions affecting Empire trade and marketing. Canada and Australia will be asked to participate in the convention.
