THEFT OF WOOL
\ j Press Association HASTINGS, Tuesday. In the Police Court this morning, Frederick Norman Campbell, a native, and Henry Richard Murray, were charged before justices with the theft on or about July 14 of approximately 1,550* pounds of wool valued at £4O 16s Bd, the property of Frederick John Witherow, of Waipawa. A remand was granted till July 23. Murray was allowed bail of £2OO. Bail was refused to Campbell on the ground that he is already on probation.
