FRANCE WILL MEET ITALY ON NAVY CURTAILMENT SUSPENSION THIS YEAR PARIS, Thursday. It is learned that the Foreign Minister, M. Briand, has officially intimated to the British Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Mr. A. Henderson, that France, with a view to the furthering of negotiations between France and Italy, is ready to accept the proposal for a naval holiday, and to suspend the 1930 building programme during the present year.
