TE AWAMUTU WEDDING
A HARMONY OF ROSE AND GREEN FRIER—THOMAS The wedding took place recently at St. John’s Anglican Church, Te Awamutu, of Fanny May, second daughter of- Mr. and Mrs. A. Thomas, of Te Rahu, to Frederick Frier, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. A. Frier, of Loughborough, London The ceremony was conducted by the Rev. S. R. Wareing. The bride, who was given away by her brother, wore a frock of ivory crepe de chine, with overdress- of beautiful silk lace. Over this fell a dainty veil, held in place with a coronet of orange blossoms. Her bouquet was composed of white flowers and maidenhair fern The bridesmaids were Miss Boris Wilson and Miss Pearl Thomas, sister of the bride, wearing frocks of cameo pink and reseda green crepe de chine respectively. They also wore dainty tulle headdresses trimmed with rosebuds to tone, and carried bouquets of shaded flowers. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. R. E. Goddard as best man. Mr. George Frier was groomsman. Following tho ceremony a reception was held at the residence of the bride’s parents. Mrs. Thomas received her guests wearing a frock of rose beige crepe de chine, with hat to match
