charming bridal gown OF SHELL-PINK TAFFETA

On Saturday evening a pretty i n-eddtaS was celebrated at the Holy | Trinity Church. Otahuhu, when Nellie ronstanee. fourth daughter of Mrs. .nd the late Mr. H. X. Wills, Otahuhu, ..as married to John Allen, only son (,£ Mrs. and the late Mr. X. McPherson. of Mangere. The B ev - c - E - " ‘ 011 performed ■he service, and Mr. A. White presided at the organ. The bride, who was given away hv her brother. Mr. W. Wills, was frock.d in shell pink taffeta and ,jlk net. fashioned with a fulltiered skirt. A prettily embroid-*-ed tulle veil was worn, finished on either side with clusters of orenge blossom, and she carried , beautiful shower bouquet of pink roses and sweet peas. Miss Jessie Wilis acted as maid, nearing a frock of powder blue taffeta. the long uneven length skirt being finished with a soft bow at one side. V bandeau of tulle, to tone with her bouquet of carnations and pink camellias, wag worn. Little Thelma Ryan, niece of the bride, was flower girl, wearing a pretty !rock' of shell pink frilled net. finished with circles of rosebuds. On her head slie wore a wreath of silver leaves and carried a basket of rose petals. Mr. F. Tidmarsh was best man. The reception was held at Gardiner’s Tea Rooms, which had been prettily decorated for the occasion with bowls of paper whites and greenery.
Mis. Wills, mother of the bride, wore a. smart ensemble of navy wool crepe <l© chine, with furs and felt hat of nut brown. She carried a posy of violets. Mrs. McPherson was wearing- navy crepe do chine, with a fawn cloth coat and small hat. Her bouquet was of autumn tints. The travelling frock of the bride was of raisin velvet with fur-trimmed coat to match, and a small hat.
