BOXING CHAMPIONSHIPS

The best amateur boxers in the country districts in the Auckla.nd Province are expected to compete in the South Auckland amateur boxing championships, which will be held at the Drill Hall, Hamilton, next Thursday evening. The South Auckland championships are always popular, not only with tho country boys, but also with the amateurs in Auckland, many of whom take the opportunity of competing in the YVaikato as a preliminary try-out to tho Auckland provincial championships later in the month. Entries will be received up to Monday. July 14, with the secretary. Box 252. Hamilton.
