AKARANA'S OPEN DAY Members of the Akarana Golf Club played an IS-holes stroke handicap yesterday morning. V. L. Baker, with a card of 83, 11—72, won the cup for the best gross score, as well as the senior cup A. Sinclair won the junior cup with a card of 87, 15 —72.
