SALES IN LONDON Recti. 10.20 a.m. LONDON, Thursday. At tlie wool sales 10,264 bales were offered, including 3,872 from New Zealand. About 6,600 bales were sold. There was a moderate selection of Merinos and a splendid offering of greasy crossbreds and slipes. .Steady competition was shown, and late rates were maintained. New Zealand greasy crossbred so'd: Severn, HJd to lOld; halfbred, Uptonfells, 12Jd and 12d.
