EX-SOLDIER’S DEATH

FOUND WITH BULLET IN HEAD Press Association DUNEDIN, Today. Sydney Andrew Mitchell, aged 31, a single man. was found dead in his nedroom this morning. His bodv was lying across a bed and he had a bullet wound in his right temple. A. rifle was.found in the room. Nobody in the house heard a shot fired. Mitchell, who was born in London served during the war as a lieutenant in the Imperial Forces and spent some time in’lndia. He came to New Zealand about IS months ago and had lived in Dunedin for the last four months. He was a salesman by occupation.
