STANLEY STREET FIRE

Smart work by the City Brigade prevented serious damage to a twostoreyed building at 7 Stanley Street, occupied by Hall and Stanborough, a plastering firm. The call was made at 10.5 o’clock last evening, and the brigade limited the damage to the charring of the wallboards on one side of the building.
