BADMINTON ASSOCIATION
, FIRST OFFICERS ELECTED i The formation of nn Auckland BadIminton Association to control the sport in the Auckland Province -was finalised , at a further meeting: of the delegates of Auckland clubs last evening. The following officers were elected: President, Mr. R. Bell; vice-president, Mr. E. W. Griffiths; scretary and treasurer. Mr. J. Paul; committee, Messrs. K. 11. Wilson, IX G. Macfarlane, E. Tonks, Rev. Mr. Wilkes, J. H. Revburn. The executive committee will meet I shortly to finalise arrangements for the conduct of an inter-club competition. The rules, subject to the approval of the New Zealand Badminton Association, were adopted with a few minor alterations.
