ELDERLY WOMAN BREAKS ANKLE
Slipping while walking along the pavement in Karangahape Road shortly j after 9 o’clock last evening, Mrs. M. I Clegg, aged 74, fell and broke her : left, ankle. J Mrs. Clegg was taken to her home at ! 6 Fernleigli Street, Ponsonby, in a ! taxi-cab, and later the St. John Am- ; bulance took her to the Auckland i Hospital.
