MUSIC EXAMINATIONS
GOOD ENTRIES RECEIVED This year exceptionally good entries have been received for the practical examinations in music conducted by the Associated Board of the Royal Academy of Music and the Royal College of Music, London. In the Auckland district, in all sections, 384 entries have been received by the secretary, Air. L. W. Swan, compared with 308 entries lust year. In the primary section, 98 entries have been received, in the elementary S 3, in the lower and higher grouped 110, in the intermediate and advanced 58, and in the final section seven. For tlio L.A.B. examination 28 entries have been received. The examinations will be conducted by Dr. R. O. Beechcroft, M.A., of London, in the Pitt Street Methodist Church, on July 21. Other examinations will be held at Te Aroha and Pukekoho and possibly at Helensville.
