BIRTHDAY PARTY
DANCING, MUSIC AND GAMES A very pleasant evening: was given by Mrs. AY r . Means, at the residence of Mrs. AA". J. Dunn, Grey Lynn, in honour of the birthday of her daughter, Norma. Lancing, musical items and games entertained the guests. The social room was prettily decorated in royal blue and gold. The guest of honour. Miss Norma Means, wore a frock of tlesli pink georgette. Mrs. Dunn, who received the guests, was frocked in black satin relieved with figured velvet. Mrs. Means had on salmon crepe de chine. Among those present were: Miss L. McManus, wearing: mauve satin: Miss McGregor, apple green satin: Miss E. Vaile, royal blue georgette trimmed with gold: Miss Greer, black ring velvet; Miss N. Boa?, azure blue crepe de chine and lace; Miss Molly Boag, flame georgette; Miss Marion Morton, black satin; : Miss Mennie, figured velvet; Miss Frances Boa?, lavender taffeta and lace; Miss ,T. Dunn, black crepe de chine relieved with beige; Miss Smithson (Hamilton), shell pink crepe de chine; Miss AVright. (Wellington), apple green satin trimmed with silver lace; Miss Patterson, pale blue satin: Miss Josie Cartwright, shot taffeta: Miss Josie Draper, black figured satin; Mrs. R. Dunn, biscuit taffeta: Mrs. Draper, plum velvet; Mrs. A. Sandals, apricot georgette: Miss Jean Sandals, pale blue silk; Miss D. Benjamin, blue crepe de chine. Musical items were given by Misses Patterson, McManus, and M. Greer Messrs. D. Benjamin, W. Arthur and’ George Dearson. A humorous sketch was given by Mr. R. Dunn.
