EX-NEW ZEALANDER AND LECTURER ! An . ex- Now Zealander who finds ; considerable difference since she was last here, is Mrs. Leila M. Blomfield. of Chicago, C.S.A., who is spending a holiday in the Dominion visiting relations and renewing old friendships. Mrs. Blomfield is particularly interested in women's movements throughout the world, and. herself a clubwoman, lectures at clubs in Chicago on various subjects of feminine interest, the racial progress of women, and includes talks on New Zealand and the work of New Zealand women. While in the Dominion, Mrs. Blomj field intends making an extensive tour o f the North and South Islands to polish up her first-hand knowledge, and will visit Rotorua to study the Maoris before returning to Auckland. The visitor hopes to get into touch with the various women’s organisaI tions in the places she visits, so that j she may know just what New Zealp.nd ! women are doing in an organised and i representative way.
