CHURCH DESTROYED

FIRE AT ROTOIG From Our Ourn Correspondent HAMILTON, Tuesday. Fire completely destroyed the church at Rototuna, near Hamilton, about 11.30 last night. As there was no water available nothing could be done'by bystanders to prevent the flames from spreading. The building, which was used by the Methodist and Presbyterian denominations, bad only recently been renovated, and a large hall added tc the rear of the structure. New tables and ping-pong sets, recently acquired, together with a good deal of crockery were destroyed in the flames and will be a distinct loss to the community. The building was insured for £BOO.
