BOYS IN LEAKY BOAT

SWEPT AWAY BY CURRENT RESCUED FROM LAUNCH Special to THE SUN HUNTLY, Tuesday. Two small boys, P.eter Andrews and Gordon Lowen, aged three and five years respectively, obtained a boat today near the Waikato River, and were soon carried away in the swift current. The boys’ plight was noticed by a youth, who went for assistance and a launch 'was secured. The boat was found to be leaking badly and was quickly being filled with water. The boys were rescued and the boat was returned to its moorings.
